May Long Weekend...?

My fellow Americans, did you know they celebrate this weekend as a long weekend up her in Canada?  Monday is Victoria day.  So I say, why not use it as an excuse for some fun!?  Get out there and have some fun!  Be irresponsible and blame it all on your neighbors to the North!!

Location, location, location!!

These are some fun shots from the locations we used when filming one of my short films.  I can't help but emphasize how much I love a wicked location for filming.  In everything I create as a filmmaker, the setting is just as important of a character as anything else.  This place was amazing!

After Dark...

As the weather gets warmer, it's the perfect time for night photography!  Get out there and have some fun!!

Good Old Vancouver!

One of my favorite things about Vancouver is the old and or brick buildings.  I know the city is doing it's best to live up to the nickname, "The City of Glass", but I myself love the character of some of these types of buildings...

Summer Will Happen!!

I woke up in good old Vancouver this morning and it's a clear day!  Not sunny and hot yet, but it reminded me that it will happen!  With that in mind, here are some pics from Venice Beach, where it is summer 9 to 10 months out of the year...  (fyi - in the palm tree picture, nothing has been doctored color wise, that literally what the sky looked like that day.  Pretty amazing, huh?)

Some oldies, but goodies!!

Road Trip pictures are often my favorites.  Out on the open road, you see something intriguing, you pull over for a few quick shots, sometimes it works out, sometimes not.  But as with all things creative, there is never a guarantee anyway, so why not just give it a shot!

Seattle @ Night!

It's amazing what fun you can have in low light situations without a flash.  These are from a recent trip to Seattle, taken with nothing more than a point an shoot...  Never know when that red sky is gonna decide to make an appearance, but you sure as hell better not let it pass without a few pix.  Now get out there and have some fun with the old camera!!
