Sexy Black and White...

Maybe it's just me, but there is something insanely sexy about black and white photography. In a world that is bursting with color and visual stimulus, what a concept to peel it all away and get back to the bare bones. These photos were taken on a simple walk-a-bout in good old Seattle, Washington.

Busy, busy!

It seems that this time of year everybody is busy and working hard. And who can blame ya, that's what we're taught to do. I'm as guilty as the next guy for moving at a million miles an hour. "Keep your eye on the prize." "Keep your nose to the grindstone." But if you can find a free moment, it can be very interesting to see what happens if you break that cycle and become conscious to your surroundings. The photo below was on a day when I did that exact thing...

The Self Portrait

There is something to be said about the self portrait. Putting that camera on timer and letting the magic unfold hands free. Let's face it guys, we no longer live in the era of film. In the good old past, turning the camera on ones self was a risky endeavor. What if you end up with pictures of half heads or nothing but nose hairs and double chins. That was considered a waste of film. But today we live in the Digital age, the perfect excuse to turn ones camera on ones self. The good news, every once in a while you will get lucky...

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

As you prepare to head out for a day of green wobbly pops and some fancy Whiskey, I thought you all could pattern your day after the happiness in the faces below! These are photos of "A-Maze-Ing Laughter" in Morton Park, the West End, Vancouver, BC. The artist is Yue Minjun of China, and let me tell you, if you haven't seen it, you gotta check it out. Matter a fact, have a few wobbly pops and go give my friends a visit... Great Day to All!!!

The Unknown...

A recurring theme that my camera repeatedly captures. I love the image taking me down a road with an undefined ending. The possibilities are endless...

Paradise... City... and The Fire of Night...

The time is upon us for change! As life seems to be zooming by, I've decided to share one of my passions with the masses. "Stryker In Motion" is officially becoming an exploration of life through a lens as it unfolds around me... Enjoy!!

Lost and Found

The Job: Director, Writer, Actor, Producer...

The Idea: Let's Just Do It! This was about making a film without needing to hold each others hands through it. Let's get a group of creative individuals together, everybody bring their expertise, and let's make a movie... And that is exactly what we did. Started as a crew of 3, grew into a crew of 4, and then went back to a crew of 3 so one of our crew could play her part in the film...

The Result: One day, film is in the can, now we move to post production. The victory lives in what we were able to do when others said it couldn't be done. The reality that if you want to do something in life, DO IT! Sometimes the victory is the journey, and in this case everybody left fulfilled...

The Lesson: Life is about doing... Action = The Road To Success
